"One day Charlie, we'll be able to climb on that stuff...."
She can pump herself if you give her a starter push.
The 3 kids were all wearing matching bright green (unplanned) and so we thought we'd try to get a picture of them all on the swings where they would be confined.
kind of tricky. but the other option is taking their picture when they are all eating....

We went with the Kilgores to stay at the cape this past weekend and had a great time. Unfortunately my camera batteries were dead and I didn't bring my charger, so thanks Lauren for taking this picture of us in line at the flying horses carousel on Martha's Vineyard. I have to say we are all looking pretty horrible in the heat!
Here are the highlights: Ella loved the ferry ride, the carousel rides, the junk food we ate at the vineyard all day. Josie loves dogs, all dogs especially at naptime when they seem to resemble pillows. Our kids didn't sleep great. The grill caught on fire. We lost power. We decorated t-shirts. We laughed lots. As always, an exciting and fun time catching up with old friends! Thanks guys!

Henry (and his mom) visited us last week. The big kids fingerpainted (with brushes)/
Josie started really walking!
The watched Doc McStuffins. A real nail biter.
And Josie had a (pretty) good morning with her eye patch.
Thanks for the visit. We are glad we made it into the top tier of people you need to see when you are on a New England trip!

We hung out at Nicoles for a playdate with Alexander and Charlie. Since there were so many babies, it was easier to put Ella in the play yard and let the babies have free reign that way they couldn't mess up her stuff.
Then we went to the playground.

Ella would have gladly sent Josie in to take her place at swim lessons, unfortunately Josie is too little. So Josie and I sat and watched the lesson up close with the other parents, and Ella hid behind us avoiding the pool all together. I think that Thursday afternoons are about to get really real.
